Video and Photography at Advanced Manufacturing Madrid 2026: Stands, Demos and Congress
I’m Marcos Pérez, and I film and photograph stands, machine demos and congress talks at Advanced Manufacturing Madrid 2026, on 4 and 5 November in Halls 2, 4 and 6 at IFEMA Madrid. I work for manufacturers of machinery, automation, composites, surface treatment, additive manufacturing and metrology equipment. At this show the machine has to be seen working: the spindle cutting, the robot moving the part, the 3D printer building layer by layer.
Six manufacturing areas across three IFEMA halls
Advanced Manufacturing Madrid runs on 4 and 5 November, from 9:30am to 6pm, in Halls 2, 4 and 6 at IFEMA Madrid, with more than 34,500 m² of exhibition space. Organised by Easyfairs, it is split into six areas: Metal & Machine Tools, Automation & Digitalisation, Composites Engineering, Surface Treatment, Additive Manufacturing and Test & Quality Control. This year it adds dedicated spaces for welding, machine tools and subcontracting. The organisers cite more than 650 exhibitors and over 13,000 unique visitors, and the congress brings more than 100 speakers to the Auditorium, the Tech Forum and the Ágora. The AM Awards are presented and machines run live in the Live! Demo Machinery area.
Visitors are plant managers, engineers and heads of purchasing, quality or maintenance. They come to watch the machine work, and a video of the equipment running, with the finished part at the end, is what helps them most when they have to justify the purchase back at their company.
Industrial photography of machinery, parts and processes
I photograph your machinery with the light that metal and composites need: controlled reflections, machining detail, surface finish and the finished part next to the machine that made it. I look for the shot an engineer checks first, the one that proves precision.

How I film a running machine safely
Before the show we set which demos get filmed and when. On the stand I respect the safety zones your technician defines and use long shots and suitable lenses to get close without entering the machine’s working area. Anything confidential, such as a prototype or your own tooling, stays unfilmed.
FAQ
Questions from Advanced Manufacturing Madrid exhibitors
Can you film a running machine with the noise and guarding on the stand?
Yes. I film through the guarding or when your technician opens the cabin, always following their instructions. Show noise is replaced in the edit with music or your technician’s voice, and I keep the machine’s own sound when it adds something.
How do you photograph metal parts without glare?
With diffused light and careful angles, so the reflection traces the shape of the part instead of hiding it. For small parts I set up a neutral background in a corner of the stand and shoot catalogue images during quiet moments.
Do you also film at Live! Demo Machinery or the AM Awards ceremony?
Yes, if your company takes part. I bring the camera to the demo or the ceremony and add it to the stand coverage. If you win an AM Award, I send you a selection that afternoon to post while the show is still running.
Can I use the video to train my technicians and distributors?
Yes. The material is yours with no time limit for internal training, YouTube, your website, catalogues and your sales network. I deliver within 24 to 72 hours and invoice your company.
What about a prototype we don't want to show yet?
It stays off camera. Before filming we walk the stand and mark what can’t be shown. If it appears in a shot by mistake, I crop or blur it in the edit before delivering anything.
