From 15 to 17 October, GUEXT holds its second edition in Hall 12 at IFEMA Madrid. Organised by IFEMA MADRID and backed by FELAC, it brings together seven sectors that supply hotels, restaurants and cafés: equipment and machinery, tableware, design and decoration, technology and digitalisation, coffee, logistics and packaging, and gym and spa. The programme includes the GUEXT Forum, live demos at KitchenXperience, the CoffeeXperience area and, on 16 October, the final of the first National School Menu Competition. The 2024 edition drew 7,000 professionals.
At a show like this, buyers want to try before they decide. An oven mid-cook, a coffee machine pulling an espresso or tableware laid out for a banquet makes far more sense on camera than on a spec sheet. Once that moment is recorded, your sales team can show it to everyone who never made it to Hall 12.

Before the show, we agree a shot list covering the key moments: when each demo takes place, which product goes first and which meetings you would rather keep off camera. At the busiest times I stay in the background, and I use the quieter hours from opening at 9:30 for the detail shots.

Yes. You send me the demo schedule before the show and I position myself so I do not block the audience’s view. If a demo is repeated, I use one run for wide shots and another for close-ups.
