Video and Photography at Estampa 2026 for Your Gallery · Madrid
Do you need video and photography at Estampa 2026? From 24 to 27 September 2026, at IFEMA Madrid, the 34th edition of Estampa brings together the leading galleries on the national scene and international projects from Portugal, Italy, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Sweden. You look after collectors, press and institutions; I document your booth, your works and your programme with coverage that respects what is shown.
Why you need professional video and photography at Estampa
At an art fair, visual material isn’t a marketing extra. It’s gallery archive, a dossier for collectors, evidence for the annual report and, often, the only quality image that will remain of the display. A quick phone photo won’t do to justify an acquisition or to send to a museum committee.
Estampa brings together more than 80 galleries across the General Programme, Ensayo Futuro, Clásicos Contemporáneos and Magazines and Publishers. There is external curatorship and a guest artist, Esther Ferrer in this edition. In that context, publishing amateur material on Instagram clashes with the level of the programme.
Coverage of your gallery at IFEMA Madrid, from 24 to 27 September
I cover the four days of the fair, or as many as you need. Before the installation we agree over a video call which works absolutely must be documented, whether you have a performance, an editorial presentation or a meeting with the artist, and which time slots draw the most collectors and press.
I work with compact equipment, no direct flash on the artwork and particular care not to interrupt the reading of the room. Standard delivery is 24-48 hours; express delivery available with a surcharge to publish during the fair.

What the video and photography service for galleries at Estampa includes
Ready-to-use format for every channel
Horizontal for gallery website and newsletter, vertical for Instagram, square for the carousel, high resolution for dossier and cultural press.
Fast delivery and unrestricted use for your gallery
You receive the files via download link within 24-48 hours, with a broad license for gallery use.
Content made to respect the artwork
Clean framing, faithful colour, no social-media filters or saturation retouching, and no slapping the gallery logo over the work. What matters is what's on the wall.
Material that keeps working after the fair
The same files feed the annual report, the dossier for upcoming fairs, communication with museums and institutions, and the artist's profile sheet.
Why an art fair is covered differently
At Estampa the commercial-fair playbook doesn’t apply. The work comes first: no creative framing that distracts from the piece, no flash reflections on the glass of a frame, no filters. The photograph has to serve the work, not show off above it.
The artist’s intellectual property matters: some galleries can only authorise reproduction for internal use or for press, and some artists restrict digital circulation. I ask before photographing each piece and check with you what can be published, on which channel and with what credit. And conversation is the moment: what sells is often not the work on the wall but the one shown in the back room to a specific collector; that moment is covered with the utmost discretion and always with permission.
How I work on the day of the fair
I arrive at the hall before opening to photograph the installed, empty room: it’s the moment when the work reads without distractions. During the day I alternate ambience shots, artwork detail from a respectful distance, a portrait of the gallerist at work, moments with collectors and, if the artist is present, a small styled portrait.
For video I prefer slow tracking shots and long static takes, closer to the language of art than to the mass-market reel. That material then works on the gallery website, in the annual report and in communication with institutions. I deliver within 24-48 hours.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about coverage at Estampa
Do you also document performances or editorial presentations?
Yes. If your gallery has a performance, an artist presentation or an editorial launch scheduled at the booth, it is documented with video and a photo series of the moment, coordinated with the fair’s curatorial team.
Can I book coverage for just one day?
Yes. Many galleries concentrate their work on the VIP day or the opening; you can book single-day coverage, adjusting the pack.
Do you deliver the content on the same day as the fair?
Yes, with an express delivery surcharge. Priority goes to a short video and a selection of three or four booth and artwork photos to post on Instagram and send to cultural press during the fair.
Do you work with galleries from outside Spain?
Yes. Estampa welcomes galleries from Portugal, Italy, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Sweden, among others. Prior communication is handled in Spanish or English and intra-EU invoicing is issued without any problem.
Are the files royalty-free?
The files are delivered with a broad usage license for the gallery. Reproduction of a specific artwork remains subject to the artist’s copyright; in practice this does not limit the gallery’s usual use (social media, web, annual report, press), but it is worth having it clear in writing for commercial uses outside that framework.
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner the better. Estampa has high demand for audiovisual services and the schedule fills up weeks before the event.
